Elizabeth “Betty” has been with the agency since 1973. Betty has been involved in the company in various supportive roles over the years, most recently as a receptionist. Betty and her husband James F. Glavin, moved to Necedah from Milwaukee, Wisconsin where Glavinsured was founded. While Betty has scaled back to only part-time, it gives many of the agency’s clients whom have been with Glavinsured for decades and generations, great joy to be able to talk to her on the phone and see her in the office and reminisce.
Betty started her career as a Registered Nurse and kept her license while raising 7 children (four of whom work at the agency). She also donated many hours over many years to offering free healthcare services to those in the community as well as assisting in helping unwed mothers and free adoption services. In addition, she donated her time teaching kindergarten at a local private school.

Russ joined the family-owned agency in March 1987 and is a 3rd generation owner. He has over 34+ years of experience in insurance and enjoys working with his clients in Wisconsin as well as the surrounding states. Russ’ main focus is with Medicare where he has earned the exclusive Gold Premier Producer status for 2019 & 2020 sales with one of our top-rated Medicare carriers. In addition, he has many years of experience assisting clients with personal, commercial, life, health and long-term care. Russ obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor - CIC designation in April of 2002 and understands the complexities of insurance. He believes in making the whole process a positive and easy educational experience for his clients.
Russ has enjoyed volunteering for several community events and activities which include; serving as a parish council member, past school board member at the local Christian school and a committee member for the local school fundraiser, Summer Fest.
When not in the office, Russ enjoys spending time with family, camping, hunting with his children, trips to the north woods of Wisconsin and golfing. “I’m passionate about protecting my clients’ current and future well-being from the unexpected. This has been the goal of Glavinsured Agency since its founding in 1953 and I am proud to be part of the insurance industry.”
David J. Glavin

David has been with the agency since August, 2010. David obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Northern Michigan University in 2003. Prior to joining Glavinsured, he was in Management and Public Relations/Marketing for a leading North American company. He is licensed for all lines of insurance and is working towards his Certified Insurance Counselor designation. David works both in commercial and personal lines and has played a large role in the growth of the Medicare plan option offerings of the agency, as well as group benefits, life and health products.
David is on the Leadership Council of the National Federation of Independent Businesses in Wisconsin, bringing the concerns of his clients, both personal and commercial to our local, state and federal officials. He volunteers as an athletic director to a local homeschool group and coaches their high school boys’ basketball team.
In his spare time, he loves spending time with his beautiful wife and children and working and playing just about anything outdoors in beautiful Central Wisconsin.

Mary joined the agency in March, 2015. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science. Mary is a licensed CSR and is working towards her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. Mary is the main point of contact for all new and existing clients and her primary responsibility is to assist Glavinsured’s clientele in servicing their day to day needs.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her children and family.
